Dr. Shreyus Shivanand
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry / Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr Shreyus Shivanand is a Consultant Psychiatrist with Dual certificate in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Consultation – Liaison Psychiatry.
She completed her Specialist training in Psychiatry through Monash Health and holds a Master of Psychiatry from the University of Melbourne.
Dr Shivanand serves as an Associate Lecturer in the Master of Mental Health Science (MMHSc) program. Dr Shivanand is the Subspecialty Coordinator for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry within the Department of Psychiatry, School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health, in affiliation with the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University.
She is actively engaged in mentoring international medical graduates preparing for the Australian Medical Council examinations and is a faculty member of the Pathways Foundation in Coimbatore, India.
Her clinical and academic interests include psycho-oncology, neuropsychiatry, eating disorders, child and adolescent psychiatry, and neuropsychiatry and neurodevelopmental disorders in childhood.
Beyond professional work, Dr Shivanand is an avid enthusiast of the arts and music and enjoys exploring new cultures through travel.
