Dr Sanil Nair is an Australian-trained General Practitioner with a holistic, patient-centred approach to healthcare. With extensive experience across multiple countries and medical specialties, including Anaesthetics, Intensive Care, and General Practice in both metropolitan and rural communities, he provides comprehensive care focused on long-term well-being.
Dr Nair integrates conventional medicine with evidence-based complementary therapies, including lifestyle and preventative health strategies, to support patients in addressing the underlying causes of illness and optimising overall health. He has a strong interest in nutrition, exercise, metabolic health, and sustainable lifestyle interventions that empower patients to take an active role in their health journey.
Integrative General Practice is accredited by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and involves additional training in nutritional and environmental medicine. This supports a holistic model of care that considers not only symptoms but also overall health, lifestyle, and well-being. Care may include supplements, customised diet and exercise plans, mental health support, and other lifestyle modifications, delivered in collaboration with allied health practitioners. This integrated approach is key to optimising patient wellbeing.
Outside of medicine, Dr Nair enjoys running, intermittent fasting, cold immersion therapy, and infrared sauna therapy, and has completed marathons in Australia and London.
